About This Project

Environmental Concepts assisted in locating the Simpson Art Center directly across from the Wall Building and next door to the Membership Development House, helping to define Brookgreen Gardens’ administrative core facilities.

 

Dedicated in July 2024, the Simpson Art Center includes a state-of-the-art studio and sculpture conservation lab where guests can interact with nationally recognized sculptors and contemporary artists. The art center can accommodate a wider variety of indoor and outdoor classroom experiences as well as public programs, supporting diverse media including: clay, wax, plaster, resin, 3D printing, casting, and direct stone carving opportunities.
